As the title says. I can't beat either one, and after the map "Devil is in the details", I thought I could.

Now it's just ruined Homm3 for me. I don't even wanna open the game anymore, but I miss it.

I also think I need to start over the whole factory campaign because I have no fire magic at all :( After months into the campaign, it's so frustrating.

Any good tips on beating any of these two Homm3 obstacles, so I can finally go back and enjoy Homm3 again?

Hey there fellow players.
Heroes3 is one of my alltime favourite game. In my youth i put in hundreds of hours and if this was not enough. hundred more. and my friends and me we always thought. jeah go solmyr and chain lighting will obliterate everything. but the more videos and guides i see, it seems that also heroes that improve battle capabilites of your units are often chosen in higher difficulties. is this because the people want to challenge themselves or because the balance is not that much on magicians side?
i guess i somewhat never understood the game properly. that would also explain why i was always good in multiplayer mode against my friends... hot seat is still the best mp mode, you cant change my mind :D
and as soon as i play campaign. i really suck and loose.

Just started this map and I'm stuck on 10 manticore fight with pink hero called Jaya. It seems like with 5 intelligence and the mana spring to double your mana to 100 its impossible to beat him with only 7 wraith too?

I guess if you never got offered advanced intelligence up until this point you just lose and have yo restart? Seems kind of dumb or am I missing something.

As it is on the HoMM3 engine I was wondering if any of the quality of life updates can work for that game too? I'm less fussed about the graphics than I am being able to recruit units in a couple less clicks.

So I recently I've started playing and I pretty much suck, I'm playing the campaign and the first scenario is proving to be too tough for me lol, everytime I step outside the first zone an enemy hero ambush me, even if I prepare a proper army the enemy always have 3-4 times the numbers of my units, any help or guide would be appreciated

For those who would like to play 100% in Spanish (including voiceovers for expansion campaigns):

1. Buy the full edition on GOG
2. Install the game
3. Download VCMI (free)
4. Install VCMI
5. When installing VCMI, specify the location of the base game's Data, MP3, and Maps folders.
6. Set the language to Spanish
7. Install the Traducción al español mod
8. Launch the game

-> The texts and voices are all in Spanish.

You can also adjust the volume between the voices and the music to better understand the speeches.

Been replaying the Shadow of Death campaigns; trying to do them all on Impossible. Fun times.

Got to the one with Yog, on mission 3. Yog has been tasked overall with destroying the Angelic Alliance, because Winston Boragus is a moron. In this particular mission you're supposed to leave 2 of the components with a sage to get the pendant you actually need to technically win the mission.

Week one, I came across and Altar of Sacrifice. I can just destroy the entire thing right now, and all of its components. Of course, you lose if you take the actually permanent way of disassembling this artifact, and fulfilling your new lord's moronic request.

Can someone explain to me how 2 heroes, fresh out the tavern can have different movement points? I have here a ranger with 1500 points and a elementalist with around 2000. Got any lead? ( None of them have logistics)

Hi all! Did anybody manage to fix the PC move time? After the 2nd month we wait for minutes for the PC to complete his move :/ I have a pretty high end pc, so for sure CPU power or ram is not the issue.

Hi, I'm wondering which mods on VCMI *actually make the AI a difficult opponent? Even on expert level I feel like the game is challenging but I'm seldom in fear of actually losing against the AI. What have you done to make games against AI more interesting?

Hello, so when I send the updated (better) version of my map to maps4heroes.com do they upload it as a new map or they replace the already existing one? Meaning will it still display the current downloads/rating/discussions or not?
