chickens My hens figured out the roll away nesting box! No more poopy eggs

I'm so stoked about this. It's took a couple of weeks of adjusting its position, bribery, and pleading, but most of my hens have switched to using it. I can finally take nice pictures of all the egg colors while they're unwashed

We got a roll away nesting box and at first my hens would not touch it. I moved it multiple times to squeeze it into the areas of their coop they like to lay eggs and blocked off some of their other favorite spots in the rafters. I also threw corn in/ around it lol. After a while one of the dominant hens figured it out so the rest followed in suite.

It's got bristly brushes on the inside, and as soon as they lay, it slopes down into the metal container on the bottom where they can't access it. So no poops and they can't eat them either

That looks satisfying and I am thinking some scrambled eggs for the breakfast! How many hens do you have at the moment?

Thats a lot! What specific breed you're working with, or is it a mixed flock?
