His houses are built on the money he got from these that he now disavows completely

He used to goof on Oprah for this exact thing.
Howard [Black Caricature]: Professah Oprah, how do I get me a billion dollaz?
Howard [Oprah]: Well, what you do is you start out and you take advantage of a lot of people. You never pay them anything. You just get regular people on your show and you just humiliate them. Then once you get like half a billion dollars and you announce you're going to change... and you're going to be a good person... and you're going to deny your past... and put everyone else down.
Howard [Black Caricature]: Dat sound offly wicked.
Howard [Oprah]: Well, who cares. I've got a billion.
Howard [Black Caricature]: Good point. Touché, Professah...

Whoever got him that tombstone as a Christmas gift that one year should've engraved that little rant right on the thing.

First, I’m honored to get a u/cormano response.
And damn, what an amazing quote, it became his mantra.

Wow that’s exactly what he did.
Think I still have that butt bongo fiesta VHS with the 3d glasses in a closet somewhere.

If you would've put that $40 in the bank in 1992, you would now have $43.44!

Is Howard's wig a leftover prop from "The Shaggy Dog"?

Daniel Carver on video. Was t this $30 + shipping back when money meant something? Mediocre.

u/cormano 1d ago
$34.95 plus $5 shipping and handling.
With inflation, it's about $91.

$91!
Thanks, Obama.

Yeah I think all of his stuff back then went for around $34.95 PLUS shipping and handling. But remember, this was back in the era when if you wanted porno, you had to wait for the next stash of Fuck Books to show up over on Smith Road.

The amount of times Howard cosplayed in drag, combined with his nonstop urge to ask every guest about their dick should answer every question you have about his hidden fetishes.

When people realize most of the show in the 80s and 90s were a bit they'll sleep much better at night.

All those poor people who tragically drove their cars off the road and died in vain all in the name of a bit, we speak their names

I miss 90s fashion. The good ol' days, when a XXL Looney Tunes "Property of Taz" t-shirt counted as church clothes.

I think there were 2 versions. One was shorter and was missing the 3D stuff, and then the deluxe one which came with 3D glasses and had extra behind the scenes stuff at the end of the tape. I had that one.

i think it was grillo - he had some english professor say he watched it and thought it was shit but when some lesbian scene or something came up he thought it was the worlds best video or something. they probably had grillo say that most likely, like 99% sure. but if there was a professor who really thought that then theres something for everyone i guess lol.

I wasn’t really familiar with Howard Stern until a buddy of mine showed me this VHS. The moment that I found fascinating was the “Guess who’s the Jew” segment, in particular when Daniel Carver had that list of 8-10 different races of people, and he had to rank them for best to worst. His ideology is abhorrent, but it was fascinating to see him talk through that segment and explain his reasoning. It’s those moments - when Howard talks to a Debbie the Pet Lady, Tan Mom or the guys in Insane Clown Posse, asking them questions to see what they think is pretty fascinating.

Never seen this but I assume this is one of those things where Howard gropes girls while Jackie howls like it's the funniest thing he's ever seen.

All that video stuff, including the Ch 9 shows were entertaining and worth seeing once, live. I bought every single one, heard mentality I guess but have never gone back to watch, including all the Ch 9s
Much better on radio, IMO, theater of the mind

Remember anytime HS steps away from that morning show he really doesn't translate. His talent decreases greatly. Peak is - Jacki's last two year's and Arties first three years (6 year period). I always think of one bit as peak - The time he opened his Christmas gifts on air and goofed on them. It went on for ever, it was super funny, it created multiple fights and was detailed.

I agree totally. Howard Stern needs THSS as a wacky comedy with a bunch of people around to distract from the fact that he's kinda dim and not really that funny. Seeing Howard Stern on TV is like seeing a hero without the powersuit or the gadget that makes them cool. Iron Man with it, not even Tony Stark without it. Earthworm Jim vs a worm.
