The Stiletto was a bit of a stumble. You should have spent your money on a Zune instead.

Zune was one of the best tech products ever. Used to dlo he show every day, tag it as a podcast and listen on my zune. Even when I had Sirius.

It was cool, but had a clunky interface. That along with it was going up against the biggest music product ever made led to it's downfall. But I cannot deny it wasn't a beautiful looking device.

I bet seeing that text on the stiletto brings back memories for a lot of the guys here.

Shame Imus ii decided he wanted to pocket her salary and the entire news team from the overall Sirius budget

Bought it for the 100 hours of data only to find out that 50% couldnโt be used because you could rewind live. The whole I punched through my closet door still exists

I had one of the basic radios. After my purchase I brought it to shop a Sirius recommended shop to have it installed free of charge to me. I actually thought about buying the stiletto also. A couple of guys on the jobsite had Sirius radios too. After a year or two after he made the move I never heard Howard on a construction site again. I held on till Covid.

I had, and still have somewhere, the old plug-n-play Starmate ST2. I would set it on a Velcro stand in my car on the way to work, have it on all day at work with another antenna, and bring it back home in the car. For years. When it would die Iโd buy another ST2 off eBay because newer ones had shittier reception. The golden years.

I always wanted one and then 200GB phone packages were the same price as 500MB.
Do they still work?

I always wanted one for these. Sadly I live in the UK and they don't work over here.

I have one but the battery on it is pretty much dead (only holds a charge for like 10 minutes). Does anyone know where I could potentially get a replacement battery.

You would have to get someone to crack open the battery and replace the cells. If you paid for someone to do this it would be expensive. If you are handy with a soldering iron and a Dremel you could probably do it yourself. You could also crudely solder a connector to the terminals and use a battery just velcroed to the back. None of these options sound worthwhile. I think I tossed mine a few years ago. Kinda wish I'd kept it.
Looks like there are 3rd party replacements out there. But I bet they are all 20yrs old and won't be much better.

Yeah that's what has discouraged me from getting one on ebay or something. I may also try the battery velcro method you mentioned.

It was five+ hours. Then we had wrap up show. A fully staffed H100 news team. We had it so good.
