How can I fix this?

Post image

I need to make it so the wall looks back to normal and my landlord won’t notice.

Any advice would be great thanks!

Fill it with spackle, sand it, then paint the wall

1 or 2 coats of primer so it blends when painted. Some types of filler dont require primer, but check.

Use a wide trowel to take down any high spots using the upper and lower parts as your baseline

Get some drywall compound, give it a quick first coat (don't try to be perfect, don't make it too thick, don't leave any high spots)

Sand the high spots

More drywall compound. Let it dry

Sand the high spots

More dywall compound. Let it dry

Sand the high spots.

If you can't feel any high or low spots with your hand, then clean it off of all drywall dust (not with water, vacuum or just a soft cloth). Paint it with primer. Let that dry, then pain the entire wall with a matching colour.

First, park the car outside. wow. That's a good one. Spackle will NOT fix this. It's not designed for this type of repair. You need to cut out the section of damaged drywall, replace it and mud it back in.
