Is this real or some ai fake bullshit. Because I support the Gryphon comment 😂

Real photo and real chick. From what I remember, this isn't a genetic mutation but a developmental one. The front legs are its real legs, while the ones on the back are largely nonfunctional and obstruct the cloaca. These chicks don't usually live too long.

This developmental defect is most likely caused by a genetic mutation.

I’m sensing a conjoined twin kind of situation where the twin didn’t make it and this chick fused with why was left

This photo has atleast 10 years so its not ai but i dont think you need a ai for something like this, just experienced Photoshoper is propably enough.

This image has been going around for years. I’m about 99.99% sure it isn’t ai or fake

It's taxidermy, the original fake

Who knows anymore, but i'd wager it's `ai fake bullshit`. It's not just the additional legs, but the whole area around the "hips" and lower is odd. Chickens don't have these defined hips and ass. Also, they don't have "knees" like this. The whole bottom half looks mammalian.

It looks like someone took a reference picture of a mouse or hedgehog or something, and told a genAI to make it into a chicken.

I saw this picture first like 6 years ago, it's definitely not AI.

Could still be fake bullshit though.

It looks like the back legs are backwards and the feet are malformed, giving the appearance of the mammalian legs. I wonder if it's a kind of conjoined twin?

this image has been around way before ai image generation was a thing

I’m pretty sure this image was taken a while before generative AI was a thing/widespread. It is possible it is fake in a different way though, like a render or weird taxidermy
