I am embarrassed how many times I tried to make a naan pizza in my air fryer before I remembered to switch to bake mode so the pepperonis wouldn't scatter.

I'm more embarrassed I didn't know about a bake mode. I'm reminded of the time I thought it was a brilliant idea to use the air fryer to crisp up some slightly stale tortilla chips.

You'll have a tortilla chip tornado if it's in air fry mode. Bake mode just turns the fan off.

You need one with a window like OP has! Otherwise you won't know when a tortilla chip gets caught up in the heating element until after the whole thing catches fire.

It was only thanks to a Technology Connections video that I discovered the bake mode on mine modulated fan speed. A lot of the functions on my air fryer and instant pot seem to not change anything...
