This can be either the opening or the closing shot of a movie

Definitely my thought. The picture is sensational with a spectacular view. It is so amazing. The Mount Fuji in the background and the person walking by almost unnoticed is an extraordinary contrast of elements/dynamics.

I saw the mountain first and my calcifying brain subbed “mountain” for “man.” Made wonder where the mountain lives and its means of locomotion.

Then I saw the man. D’oh!

Great shot!

This shot was taken during the golden hour on a very cloudy day just before the rain started, which turned the atmosphere into a very serene yet grim mood. Mount Fuji being so tall still towered above the clouds, while tiny humans started leaving the beach due to the starting rain.

It's also my first day using a different focal length (100-200mm) after shooting 28mm only for 10+ years! I finally committed to an interchangeable lens system and I am beyond excited after realizing how the perspective changes. Its like seeing a completely different world again!

Thank you for your kind words, it made my morning. :)
