He ran on tariffs. They voted for him. They voted for tariffs. I know this isn’t how it works, but I wish the court could throw their suit out for standing or waiver or something lol. Nothing pisses me off more than hypocrites.

Isn't the definition of irony = "when you get exactly what you want and it sucks"?

No, no it isnt. That is an example of irony.

"We know everything he said was stupid, but we didn't actually expect him to act stupid!"

Remember whem they thought he would become more "presidential" back in, like, 2017, and it never fucking happened?

Targeted tariffs in key important sectors like drones or batteries, at specific countries like china with joint effort from ally countries would have been reasonable

Across the board tariffs based on trade deficits is clown town 🤡

they don't even know what tarriffs are tbh. they just thought its something to lower prices.

It almost certainly will be tossed for lack of standing, but it's hilarious that you're rooting for that outcome, because they've been identified as conservatives.

Would you want the suit to succeed if they were liberals? Does it matter that much? You'd rather continue to suffer under these horrible tariffs than see a conservative get a win? Amazers.

It’s less about the outcome and more about principle. I just legitimately think you shouldn’t be able to complain about something you specifically voted for.

And how do you know that the plaintiffs here voted for Trump? Because they're represented by a conservative group?

Then make them prove who they voted for shrug.

You’re reading too much into this. People are free to vote like morons and then sue over it all they want. I was just indulging an amusing fantasy.

I find your fantasy pretty disturbing. Now you want people to disclose who they voted for before you will decide whether justice will be administered? Even if you want them to win, you will cheer when they lose if they voted wrong?

There's a word for this, invented about a hundred years ago under very similar circumstances. It's a word that Reddit loves to use, but doesn't even remotely understand...

Clutch those pearls more. You’ll need to pawn them off once the economy fully collapses.

I have a very diversified investment portfolio, but it doesn't include pearls, so I'm not real worried about that.

I am quite disturbed that fascism has gone mainstream again, but I guess that's just me being sensitive. I'm sure I'll get over it (please don't report me to the authorities!).

Proof that this group voted for him? There were plenty of Conservatives who voted against Trump, such as The Lincoln Project people.

MAGA doesn't understand tariffs or how trade works, exchange rates, economics, supply and demand and so on and so on.

Beer going up due to cans costing more getting LESS food for the same cost they have until 2026 Nov to figure out MAGA actually hates them and America.
