You’ll still develop psychosis eventually, it’s not IF it’s when.

Weed makes anxiety worse in the long run. Medications can take more than 2 weeks to start working. I recommend walking and any other exercise, spend time in nature, adequate sleep, journaling, big nutritious breakfast, cbd oil/caps, microdose shrooms, there are lots of ways to help anxiety. I also recommend looking into Bruce Lipton and Joe Dispenza teachings about health and the mind and body.

I dont believe so, especially as self medicating yourself. imo it's not the best kind of escape from mental health problems. Month + is a lot but so is 10 years of using.

Believe in the meds for now. Give them some time to work, and some time for your body to get used to not smoking.

You can also ask for different meds if these don't work out, it can be a process but hopefully something will work for you and you will feel better.

Also sometimes meds are not enough, but there's various forms of therapy that helped many, again hope you'll find your way too.

And not to diagnose but I've heard people with OCD can have such anxieties, did you maybe try in that direction?

For now imo, just give it time and stay strong but also safe ❤️

In the past in my attempts just to "cut down" after not smoking for just a few days smoking could literally cause more anxiety plus a racing heart and the feeling of palpitations, tingling through my body and horrible butterflys in my stomach. I'm 54 days clean and just knowing I haven't had any weed in the time, If I decided to partake even one time I'd probably end up in the emergency room from a panic attack, so no I don't think it's going to help your anxiety. I'm having my first bout of anxiety this week since my withdrawals left and smoking is the last thing on my mind, I have health anxiety and I'm working on myself alot to try combat my thoughts of "I am dying" . Instead I go for a walk and raise my heart rate naturally, use all my distraction methods, talk to people, warm showers, trash TV, essential oils, being kind to myself. Smoking just makes anxiety worse I the long run.

I do, it just depends on how disciplined you are.

Well if you completely quit something, it still has control over you. You must a stay disciplined.
