Beginner School project :3 first time working w illustrator
The project was designing a healthy candy bar brand to get people to eat healthier snacks! I really like apples and apple pies so i went with that lols
I ended up making an entire font myself cuz I couldn’t find one i liked :,3

This is really strong!! Also, making an entire font for a packaging project is badass. Hopefully you enjoyed working with Illustrator because you seem to have a real aptitude for it!

For future reference, you can use font design programs to import your glyphs and export them into a font file format that you can download and use with any text software! A couple of free ones I can think of are FontForge and Glyphr.

I use the program Glyphs to make fonts. It's pretty great and has an extensive library of tutorials. Glyphs Mini is only $50 and they offer a 50% discount for students, IMO totally worth it!

That’s neat asf! You’re in school, first Illustrator project, and do better than 75% of ppl posting on this sub. Mad respect!

This is great! I'm shocked this is your first time in Illustrator and that you're a student. This is quality, professional-level work. If I had to pick out one thing that helps this stand out for me, it's that you understood that aesthetic. I see many logos posted here that might be ok designs, but their personality is completely wrong for the brand. You have a playful, accessible design with colors, font, illustration, and design elements all working together. And you made your own font? Bravo!

Yes just make sure you use a spell check, “sweetener” is misspelled in your ingredients list

This looks beautiful 🤩 especially for a first time with illustrator. You should see my school projects lol
The packaging has great readability and clear hierarchy. The color scheme invokes healthy, fruity. The character is adorable. No notes 😆

the theme of our current period is everything advertisement related :3 i'm doing a media design college course, it's fun to do, and i'm passionate about it, but it honestly feels a bit like a waste of time, and if i look up my course you could just finish it online in like a year, while my college spreads it out over 4 years. it doesn't feel like i'm learning much now, i'm not really developing myself any further. i'm going to quit at the end of this semester and i'm going to get a higher level degree so i can continue studying :3

Hii, no i used Adobe Illustrator. Some of the drawings (like the sitting apple) were made in Krita, which i then converted to vectors in illustrator

The dedication to make a font is amazing. This is so cute My only feedback would be that the name is too close to crumbl and that ruins the illusion for me and that there are typos in the ingredients list, it says sweetner instead of sweetener and two of the ingredients have capitalization
