Advice What’s wrong with my nails? Spoiler
I’ve been taking HCL 200mg for three months now. I noticed something happening to my nail. The rheumatologist thinks I just hit it on something but i swear I didn’t. It’s so painful and it has a crack in the white space

You can absolutely have two or more autoimmune diseases at the same time 🥴🫠🫠 Sending positive energy your way! 🦋💙

Were you sick recently? I get dents in my nails a couple weeks after getting sick.

A decent rheumatologist should have picked that up straight away. Ask for a second opinion cause that looks just like psoriatic arthritis

I agree with everyone about it looking like PSA. You tend to "collect" autoimmune diseases once you have one. It's pretty uncommon to just have one

My nails have been going weird like that slowly for years, but I've only been on hcq for a few weeks now. It started like what yours looks like but now from that divot point forward it's kind of growing in all weird curling back kind of way.

This looks just like how my nails used to look when I was younger! I was diagnosed with psoriasis which is another autoimmune disease. Definitely see a dermatologist.
