I smoke weed like every single day. Whether it’s a pen or a blunt it’s pretty much everyday. Earlier this week i caught strep throat and it was terrible. I smoked two joints and it made my symptoms worse , but i didn’t know i had it at the time. I went to the doctor wednesday and got medication that same day. I’m on day 3 of antibiotics and my throat no longer hurts. Do yall think it’s safe for me to smoke at least once? Or is it best for me to wait.

So I've been off the stuff for a while now and only recently been back on it. I've had a lot of bad experiences with it, but it also can be a pretty fun time. That being said I have recently been diagnosed with Acute Hepatitis and have a rare congenital heart condition called Hypoplastic-Left Heart Syndrome. The surgeries done over the course of my life have put a tremendous amount of pressure on the liver. It's very uncertain what the future looks like for me, although I don't think I'm in any critical or serious state yet, but I want to do the best I can to help it. I bought these tinctures so I can ingest it orally so its not as strong like edibles, but I also can't smoke it because I already have lung related issues. The tincture itself is 35mg of CBD for every 3 mg of THC. Last time I had it which was a couple days ago, it activated 5 hours after I used it and was quite strong, but nothing unbearable. I wonder why that happened, but the important thing is that I want to know if it's putting strain on my liver. Research says it's inconclusive but I want to know if other people have experience. Hey, so I’m 18 and recently smoked my first joint with some friends. I never smoked a sigarette or vape in my life and also never drank any alcohol.

So the first time, i drank a lot and smoked a pretty amount for the first time. Though I didn’t feel “high” or something. I had problems walking but that was probably the alcohol. I was fully there the whole time and didn’t rlly think i had enough to rlly get high, but my friends ensured it was prob enough.

Yesterday i smoked again, not as much as the others since the light headed feeling after a hit was really fucking me up, and ofcourse had zero effects for the rest.

The joints are always mixed with tobacco and since I’ve never had any nicotine I could just be very sensitive to it.

I just wanna experience getting high, but I can’t with mixed joints cause the light headed feeling after a hit is really annoying and i just don’t fuck with tobacco.

So, is pure joints the move? Does pure joints get rid of the dizziness after a hit? Or should I just not be a pussy and go through with mixed till i get some experience/gets a little used to it.

Hey everybody I was looking for some information or clarity on my situation. So two different times I’ve tried Gummies the first time I took one nothing happened. I waited an hour took another. Nothing happened, next day did the same thing same result. About a month later I bought some more and this time I took three at once and felt nothing they’re from a dispensary. I know they’re good because I gave them to my buddy and they worked on him. Now I’ve heard some people don’t have enzymes in the liver to digest the THC and that could be why I don’t feel anything. I don’t know if that’s BS or if any of you ever heard of that or deal with it yourselves really I’m just curious as to why or if there’s any tips of how to make them work. Appreciate y’all.

I've tried in other weed and edible groups but my account isn't old enough because I just don't use reddit a lot. My friend has asked me to make brownies for them but I've never made them before, I googled how to make cannabutter (if that's how you spell it) but can I use just any brownie recipe but replace the butter with cannabutter or is there like specific recipes or steps I need to take? I just got out of the hospital after a really bad episode of reflux and vomiting. lots of dry heaving and I was there for almost 4 days. They were very quick to blame my weed use though so I'm just a little skeptical. They didn't find anything in the endoscopy but irritation and hernia (but not the kind you would get surgery for? like my body is just set up that way. like two openings don't match up perfectly within my upper gi system) so I got a few different talks about cannibis use. There weren't really any warning symptoms it kind of just happened, thought it was just anxiety at first and it snowballed into a loop of eating/drinking and throwing it up. I did smoke the smallest bit tonight and didn't have any issues. I will admit I am being stubborn abt having to potentially quit smoking bc it helps with appetite and stuff like that. I have follow up appointments with a couple different doctors so I am gonna try to get more opinions. Reflux issues also run in my family, my dad has had issues his whole life and so do siblings/grandparents. I tend to turn to a lot of research but chs seems to have very mixed experiences and lots of people get misdiagnosed. I only smoke flower as vapes have always irritated me. I buy from dispensaries not sure what difference that would make. I just feel like they zoned in on my weed use which they would have did if it was anything else like alcohol use or cigarettes you know? weed has always done the opposite for me and relieved nausea so the switch is kind of a lot. anyway thank you whoever reads this!

I've been a daily smoker for about 12 years now. Over the years, I've had what I have to believe are common thoughts among most weed smokers- thoughts of quitting from time to time. I've attempted to quit many times over the years, I'd get dwelling on how it's not healthy to be smoking anything, or try lying to myself about not being addicted, or how I find myself being incredibly lazy while I'm high... and with every failed attempt, I'm always miserable within a couple days, I find myself craving it, missing being stoned, missing the smell, missing the sensation of smoking, and I've always gone back. But, no more. I accept that I am a weed smoker and have I have come to the realization that I have no desire to ever quit or attempt to quit smoking ever again. I accept that I am addicted to weed, perhaps not the plant itself, but all of it as a whole. And I am more comfortable with this decision that I ever was with trying to quit. I'm done torturing myself like that.

Tokes off my 3 foot bong are getting stale noticeably quicker when the bong is in direct sun as opposed to shade. Would the sunlight heat the smoke up and make it stale?

For the past couple weeks I’ve been having some weird things happen to me that hasn’t with weed before. On Sat, me and my buddy took like 4 edibles (yes I’m that stupid). Sunday,Monday and Tuesday I was high ALL DAY. I honestly couldn’t tell you what happened from about Sunday morning to about Monday morning. But even before that bad high I’ve been having instances where I get a really weird mood from smoking, nothing necessarily bad or good, almost like trying to remember aspects of a dream. Besides doing things like making me not enjoy things I usually enjoy high like listening to music, or drawing. It makes me “disassociate” and “derealize” lot and it’s not what I’m looking for out of my “weed” (I don’t smoke bud often I usually do vaporizers). Any advice on what should I do, should I maybe quit?

Still a newbie, so don't give me too much crap asking a noob question. I like smoking, but also like drinking THC drinks as well. Both give me different types of highs and enjoy both. My question is if smoke some weed and then follow up with some cans of THC sodas am I crossing the streams too much or am I in for a kick ass ride?

Hi! I’m very, VERY new to anything THC related. I’ve recently been trying out tinctures for my bad insomnia/anxiety.

The first one I tried was the Hapy Kitchen “French vanilla”, for sleep. I started slow, and at about 8 drops, I felt comfortably sleepy. Works way better than melatonin, and doesn’t make me feel awful in the morning! I’m assuming it’s the CBN doing the heavy lifting. That one was a success.

Since that brand worked before, the second one I went for was the Hapy Kitchen “green tea”, for focus. Started slow again, only increasing it by a couple drops each day. I felt absolutely NOTHING until I was at 28 drops (about 1/2 dropperful? I think?). Suddenly was hit with a bad wave of dizziness and nausea. I only felt vertigo, similar to my actual vertigo spells that I occasionally get, and had the tiniest bit of trouble with talking. Had to lay down and sleep it off.

I know cannabinoids affect everyone differently, but does anyone here have advice on what to go for next? Any brand recommendations? Or do many tinctures just have this effect, and that’s why it’s significantly cheaper than other forms of weed?

So I haven't touched the stuff since highschool. Now I'm 40 and have tried it a few times in the last couple of months. The first time was awesome and had a awesome time. The other two times I got really shaky and anxious and it turned into more of a miserable time than anything.

Does this get better the more you try it or should I just avoid it all together. First time I took 3 small hits. Other two times was one huge hit. Maybe even then it's too much??? I guess I could try one tiny puff and see what happens.
