Discussion Thread Daredevil: Born Again S01E03 - Discussion Thread

Welcome back!

This thread is for discussion about the episodes.

If you have questions like "What do I need to watch before this series?"-- you can find our Spoiler Free FAQ here!

Insight will be on for at least the next 24 hours.

When Project Insight is active, all user-submitted posts have to be manually approved by the mod team before they are visible to the sub. It is our main line of defense we have for keeping spoilers off the subreddit during new release periods.

We will also be removing most outside posts about the individual episodes for the next few days to prevent spoilers about the series around the subreddit. Some posts may be allowed if they are of worthwhile effort and are properly spoiler tagged.

Discussion about details of later episodes is NOT allowed in this thread.

Proceed at your own risk: Spoilers for this episode do not need to be tagged inside this thread.

Can't wait for a three-way race whenever we get an MCU Scott Summers

Oh I miss my angsty Boy Scout.

Might just be that I’m more familiar with Peter but it seems to me that dude gets the short end nearly always.

I guess the problem is New York

Hard to have morals in Marvel NYC

Matt warned him he could never wear that suit again. I think he knew what would happen, but he also knew that if his client was left in police custody, they would be dead in a week.

For sure, it's also projection on Matt's part because he obviously also wants to be out there in his own suit doing his part but he knows he can't.

Yes he was trying to convince himself

Just casually dropping double entendres

I always forget he even existed since it was contained to one real appearance. I hope somehow via multiverse shenanigans we get another Quicksilver

Ralph Boener: am I a joke to you?

He was Quicksilver before and after. I laughed out loud at the comment before yours.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is such a good actor, what a waste.

Yeah, I'm kraven craving more of him.

I think the Wanda/Agatha simulacrum of him is the closest we'll get for quite a while. Speedsters like him are pretty OP and you have to always have some reason to nerf them if they're in your movie.

Tbh White Tiger’s ending was pretty brutal. Seeing him go out like that was pretty tough to watch. Can’t say I’ve seen something like that in a while in the mcu

I think the last time we saw someone get shot point blank was Frank shooting Matt in season 2

It was such a missed opportunity to not use him at all in What If.
