I see my bike locked up, so this picture is from 11:45 at the earliest (so much after the start)

You can see those on the right are walking toward city hall. So at this point Tremont Street and City Hall Plaza were full

This foesnxt show a fraction of the full crowd. Some reports say there were 50,000. It was huge turnout, especially on such a lousy day.

This is awesome. And its not even a good picture indicating how many people turned up.

It got way bigger after this was taken. It was hige and really heartening to see.

Remember that freeze peach rally from 2017 when like 20 dudes wearing "fascist casual" showed up and got IRL ratio'd 100:1 by counter protesters? Shitty cookie brand remembers. I'm not so secretly hoping for some photos of the opposite ratio of counter protesters today.

Heh, I only saw one. Had a "Take America Back" Trump flag, they were kinda sulking behind the stage. Literally more Event Security were present to protect the Counter Protester than real counter-protesters.

Do you think magat white waddlers would get off their couch in in today's weather and find their soiled trump shirts? I don't.

I live on an island with 20,000 people on it. Today I saw an effort to stage a "Tesla Parade" today as a counter-protest. YMMV.

I saw literally one counter protester. It was just some woman in a MAGA outfit yelling as she walked down the street.

How many people is that. That's gotta be atleast 10k right?

This is from earlier. There are a lot more people there. NBC10 Boston has a helicopter view. They started marching to City Hall

I think at the end they said they estimated 100k

12

u/bettertree8 23h ago

They estimated 50,000

They announced it to have been around 100,000 people. They were backed up on Tremont street from the town hall.

I think at one point at the rally in city hall plaza they said 100k but some people on Reddit said 50k

More than 10k though

Hundreds, maybe a bit more.

Man if you only saw the NBC10 live helicopter feed. It's grown so much from this shot

-2

u/MWave123 1d ago

Oh no doubt. Building I’m sure. They were expecting 25k.

The drone operator is saying 50k and counting https://www.reddit.com/r/massachusetts/s/2HMGWHrC5A

That’s not the Common.

They marched to the city hall Plaza as part of it. Right now they're in the plaza

You can also see the live feed from nbc10 at the top of this page. Sometimes they show an overhead chopper

Non Americans...this is what they are rallying for...

"You know, one point three million of them are on Medicaid right now, today.

We looked at the voter rolls, and we found that thousands of them registered to vote in a handful of states.

I’ve seen the data myself, and it’s more than a thousand in just a couple of states. I mean, it is shockingly bad."

Bullshit. Either they make that data public or it's just a lie.
