I've gotten a cough from just being 2 feet away from a diluted bucket of the stuff. This lady had an entire container of the stuff hyper-concentrated in half a litre of soda blow up directly in her face... she just Charla Nash'd herself with pool shock and Coke.

I've called poison control twice in 3 years of pool ownership.

Now, I wear a mask, gloves, and eye protection for everything but adding salt.
