People gotta use an inflation calculator on old games.

I do. I also look at how the games industry has become the most profitable entertainment industry in the world and suddenly it makes no sense why they need an increase in base price too.

Lol, it's cute you think you had a gotcha moment here. Nintendo got a massive boost over covid, like a lot of game companies. Their profits have steadily decreased and normalized since. They're still making massive bank, just not as massive. Their last quarter was still profitable, just not as profitable as expected. I'm not interesting in fueling endless growth for greed's sake.
