Container repair. Advice needed

Hello! I run a one-man business driving a truck with a mounted crane. As I was helping a customer move some garbage containers I was asked if I could help with patching them up. It doesn't need to be pretty as long as it is functional and garbage isn't poking out 😅

I was offered 500-1200$ per container depending on how much work is needed, The customer owns a lot of these containers so this sounds like it could be a good extra income for me.

I have access to a garage with basic power tools and a telwin technomig 215 dual welder that I have used for minor truck repairs but I am a very noob welder. Do you think I should accept the offer to repair these containers and if so how would you recommend I go about doing it in a not too difficult of a way? 😊

Thanks in advance

Depends on the thickness of the containers/ how straight they are . You'd need to cut flat plate big enough that you can get to metal that hasn't worn away and weld them on. If the steal has corroded a lot it'll be a pain to weld
