Pretty sure this site keeps my streaks alive even when I miss a day.

This site sending notifications makes me so annoyed, "you're on a 10 day streak, keep it up," or whatever the message says. Sometime I try to intentionally skip a day to break it but then I logged in this morning, and it still showed my streak as active. Obnoxious, I'm on here more than I want anyways, you're social engineering just makes me feel shittier about it.

Agreed. I really wish Reddit would stop congratulating me for spending too much time on Reddit.

That's pretty common now, streak systems have been shown to have a negative effect on long term user retention because restarting a broken streak from scratch is a psychological barrier that leads people to just quit instead. So now apps try to get the best of both worlds with fake streaks.

One of the more harmless addictions though. 😀
