Put it in sideways?

Classic "wrong way is now the right way" syndrome.

There's a treatment for that, not a cure, but it requires daily doses.

It’s a misprinted olive. I hear they’re worth considerably more money. You should take this to a pawn broker immediately to assess its value.

Maybe she’s open minded

No need to Kink Shame. She might like it that way

Infuriating? Its not even rare, and it is de-seeded the same way as any other olive, literally no difference

for all the other olives I have eaten, the hole was poked from the top (not the side). it may not be rare but for me it was pretty mildly infuriating.

Its pretty common, like 2-5 in every small can type common.

Some companies might throw them away, but I dont see a reason why they would

2

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

oh wow, i'm surprised i havent seen any before now. i eat a lot of olives.

1

u/271kkk 1d ago

Maybe you eat some fancy olives.

I see them a lot in medium priced olives i eat

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

yeah possibly. i just get whatever ones are on the shelves but it also could just be a random coincidence

Random occurrences that have no impact on anything are not infuriating. Maybe there is a sub for that.

-4

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

i know, but personally it's mildly infuriating to me. i'll see if there is an ocd sub lol

u/Toothless-In-Wapping 1d ago

This is not OCD

just didn't know what else to call it. kinda said it as a joke though. now that i'm thinking about it, shoulda said pedantic sub sorry.

Wait what the heck are olives originally and what is put inside? I thought olives were just naturally occurring olives.

2

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

well, the olive i was talking about here was just a normal green olive but the pit was taken out and and stuffed with pimento. not an olive expert, but im pretty sure there is a natural hole on the top where the stem thing was and usually the pimento is poked through there to make it blend in a bit more if that answers your question.

u/Aromatic_Survey9170 1d ago

Oh yes that does make sense, I’ve never eaten a green olive in my life so they don’t even really exist in my world, completely forgot about olive trees for a minute.

Olive stuffed the long wayyyy

u/DntBKoi 1d ago

A hole is a hole

3

u/BBresulla 1d ago

What ever you do DO NOT EAT IT. You can become seriously ill and even die. /s

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

i took that photo last night 😔 at lease the olive tasted good

2

u/Colincleanse 1d ago

Mildly interesting and not infuriating maybe?

1

u/zurds13 1d ago

That’s what she said

3

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

now realising i shoulda worded that better-

1

u/Gold-Set-6198 1d ago

Is "olive" a euphemism for something else in this case?

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

no 😭 i'm just really bad at thinking about my words

1

u/LawfulnessRemote7121 1d ago

That’s infuriating?

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

to me, yeah. but very mildly. i'm a very pedantic person.

1

u/Equal_Pie4787 1d ago

Not even slightly infuriating, it doesn't change the flavor, just pop it in your mouth and move on

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

i know, i know, many people have commented similar things. different people have different opinions on things, but you're right- still tasted good.

1

u/Miserable_Rube 1d ago

That's kinda cool

1

u/Mikeyboy2188 1d ago

Maybe it’s the one olive that was stuffed the right way and we’ve been led to believe the other way was correct by “big olive” corps.

2

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

they've been lying to us!!!!

This post made me laugh. Not sure why everyone’s giving OP a hard time 😆

2

u/subsailor1968 1d ago

Someone gave the olive a “hard” time.

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

thank you 😭 glad you thought it was funny

1

u/Ill-Conclusion-6313 1d ago

Me too, olive. Me too.

1

u/Relative-Minimum4624 1d ago

I like getting stuffed the wrong way on Friday nights.

1

u/Kiki_Kazumi 1d ago

That's what she said!

And I'll see myself out...

1

u/jxebhifi 1d ago

please do- i am rethinking all of my life choices because of a simple olive.

First world problems.. because sometimes you have to create a problem out of nothing.

1

u/Gara_M 17h ago

The posts you can see here range from "my neighbour run over my firstborn baby" to "my olive was picked sideways".

This is about as mild as it gets
