I've had a popcorn milkshake before, had the exact reaction as your wording. And it was very bland

It's actually not that bad. I tried it at Five Guys in Dublin and had a vanilla shake with bacon. It's simply a regular shake with little bacon bits.

Its a popular item at Five Guys restaurant in the US. I had the same feelings as you and then I tried it once. It is absolutely delicious, but might clod your arteries right away. Its not a bad way to go if that ;-)

It's not a German thing, but a Five Guys thing. They had the bacon option at Five Guys in Dublin as well.
