Is this normal? I’m used to drinking buttermilk from a jersey cow but decided to try some guernsey this week. The texture is much thinner and the taste is extremely bitter almost like soap. Compared to the buttermilk I normally get which is thick, slightly sour but more buttery if anything. Thinking of tossing it, more than anything because the flavor is quite gross to me. Though I decided to have a half cup anyway. Anyone have similar experience with guernsey or can comment if this is normal?
Some pictures attached, guernsey is the one with the reddish color and jersey buttermilk is the thicker creamier looking one. The color itself is just due to the high beta carotene content

Where can I buy only the cream that forms at the top of non-homogenized milk?
I’ve looked into Clotted Cream, although it sounds similar, but isn’t quite the same as far as I understand.
Any help would be appreciated!

I've been a milk drinker since I was a kid but I want to make the choice of milk that is the healthiest though, I've heard that certain milk can lead to medical issues such as prostate cancer (which i obviously don't want) but weirdly enough I still like to have a source of calcium (if that makes sense). Any advice?

Hey milk guys. I have a question regarding non-homogenized milk. I've heard that this kind of milk has a different flavor profile and have often wondered that a lot of the people that are into unpasteurized milk enjoy the flavor of it because its often non homogenized. (I think it may be difficult/expensive to run the milk through a homogenizer if it hasn't been sterilized?)
Is there non-homogenized (but pasteurized) milk available, and could this be more popular if were in the shelves?
