What will they do in 65 years if they don’t make any more profit tough?

Based on the phrasing of this question no profit for 65 years and no loss means they will still have $65 billion + interest.

So.... Continue to have hundreds of billions of dollars on hand?

Apple sold 70 billion dollars worth of iPhones in quarter one of last year

Which accounted for over 55% of TOTAL revenue for the company, $124.3B.

Without digging through the numbers, the profit on iphones is roughly 30% to 40%, so being generous I'd say iphone sales created almost THIRTY BILLION DOLLARS IN PROFIT.

IN A QUARTER.

That AppleTV+ loss is a fucking rounding error on the income statement.

I'm glad though, we're getting decent entertainment and I hope they never shut it down if it isn't/doesn't become profitable. I need my Severance Season 3!

It's sort of like a "subsidy for the arts".
