It was a terrible movie, best skipped.

It was beyond terrible.

It had absolutely no “soul” of matrix. Even the sequels had them inspite of them not being as good as the original matrix.

The worst things were slow motion and the absence of green tint.

I still get angry when I’m reminded that it exists. At first I thought the Wachowskis did it on purpose. But then I looked at the rest of their filmography and realise that the Matrix was an amazing fluke. Everything else they have touched has been bad. Resurrections is no different. It’s just more insulting because of the success of the original and the contrast it paints.

I don’t even think terrible is a strong enough word. Actively and intentionally awful as well as a massive insult to Matrix fans is how I would describe it.
