The number of women celebrities who assaulted Justin Bieber is honestly impressive.
Don't get me wrong, it's disgusting as well.
But Jesus Christ, you can't help but be amazed at how flagrantly women can sexually assault men and receive zero punishment. Live on national television, even, and they will have droves of unhinged people defend them for it.
Drunk middle aged women are way more often a menace than anyone wants to admit. These celebs get buzzed at events just like some hen party and take all kinds of liberties with other people. Any wedding staff or bartender will tell you male staff gets assaulted all the time by handsy women that are young and obnoxious entitled or aging and desperate to feel attractive again in the worst way.
When I was 16 I had a job in a local hotel that also held conferences, I was asked to come in and serve drinks at a nurses conference, once the actual conference was done they had a band play and drinks etc. I was delivering trays of drinks all night, as they got drunk over the course of the evening, every inch of my body was grabbed, my crotch repeatedly, I was propositioned constantly and at the end of the night when they were clearing out, a woman in her 30s ish shoved me against a wall and stuck her tongue in my mouth. It was a real eye opener, the behaviour was absolutely out of control. I worked a few more of those, but as I got older I became better at getting them to back off. The behaviour was the same at every one.
The inevitable end result of the gross double standard society has toward underage male stars.
30 or 40-year-old men lust over a teenage actress or pop star and society (rightly) recoils in horror and calls them predators.
30 or 40-year-old women lust over a teenage boy and society talks bout how lucky that kid is to have women old enough to be his mother drooling over him.
Then we wonder why they so often grow up to be maladjusted, drug addicted ticking time bombs.
Bieber's case seems to be especially bad because he had worthless parents who treated him like a winning lottery ticket rather than their child. Even that isn't exactly unique in show business, though.
If you haven't heard it, you should listen to "celebrity" by Brad Paisley. It pokes fun at the ridiculous things celebrities do, just because they think they can get away with it. Brad even plays the part of an American idol contestant, with William Shatner playing Simon Cowell.
Patriarchy is not just about keeping women subservient but also pushing men into a very rigid gender role where it's understood they categorically cannot be sexually assaulted by women, even when other power dynamics (like age in this case) put the woman in a position of power relative to their victim. It is why when women do this sort of thing, there is usually something like a big age gap or a huge disparity in position (prison guard vs inmate). Men also abuse positions of power, but they can more often go after women closer in status.
And so we have this culture where men cannot really admit to not wanting a sexual advance from a woman lest they be seen as less of a man, it is violating your gender role to not be always open to sex or sexual attention from at least a conventionally attractive woman. And it is very often the same shitty PUA divkheads that enforce this idea, that will give guys shit for rejecting an advance from someone like that (at least up until they figure they can twist it to be justification for their own misogy).
