Discussion What is your obscure head canon? I'll go first

My obscure head canon is that the song The Candy Man in the candy shop at the beginning on Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) was in Charlie's head. Charlie dreamed that the owner of the candy shop was handing out all this free candy because he didn't have any money. In reality, at least in my head, it was a normal day of kids with money going to the candy shop after school to buy candy.

Not only mine but “The Rock” is Sean Connerys last Bond movie.

Bond was caught in the 1960s and was a guest at Alcatraz until the events of the movie.

Malky in Leon the Professional was the actual guy in charge of the Stansfield crew, who was using Stansfield as an attack dog and as a scapegoat to throw under the tracks if the DEA ever cracked down on them.

I’ve noodled over the idea that Beau is Afraid is actually about the drug he is prescribed being a monkey’s paw. That in order to “cure” your anxieties it makes them real. That way they aren’t all in your head and voila you aren’t crazy. That that is part of why the world is so insane, because all these people are already on the drug. But then the most anxious person in the world gets on the drug and all this wild shit happens.
