How that Spider processes images via his 8 eyes is interesting to me

I imagine it’s like the fact that we have two but unless you’re looking for it you can’t really tell it just blurs together for one

Some interesting spider facts:

  • Most spiders have pretty poor vision! But some species like the jumping spider have great vision.

  • Some spider species can live a really long time! The oldest spider was an Australian trapdoor spider that lived to be 43 years old in the wild before being killed by a wasp. Mexican Red knees have been reported living up to 30+ years of age in captivity.

  • Some species can go months or even a year+ without food! The record for a black widow is 285 days with no food. Larger species like tarantulas can go even longer. (If I recall correctly, I think it's close to two years for the record holder without any food.... just a damp water spoung:
