Career Advice What are my chances?
Non-US IMG here. Iām planning to apply to Neurology, passed Step 1 on my first take but got 220s in Step 2 CK. ~5 months USCE and 3 Neuro-related research. Iām planning to take Step 3 before ERAS deadline.
What are my chances? What should I do to increase my chances of getting interviews and getting matched?
Any advice will help. Thanks š

Your scores will filter you out before your application gets looked at tbh. Aim for 230s in Step 3. Secondly, 5 months USCE is good but it should be university-based LORs over clinics. If you've got the budget try seeking 1 year postdoc, I'm sure lots of applicants left their spot so this is the perfect time to reach out. Hopefully it works out for you!
