Did Macron have holy water on his hand when he fact checked Trump yesterday?

Trump is known for trying to crush peoples hands while shaking them. Good chance Macron won the handshake.

u/Cautious-Asparagus61 Feb 26 '25

Honestly this was my thought. I've noticed a LOT of people handshaking him recently are ready for his little bitch pull in power move and easily block it now 😂.

This bruising is probably a result of that imo

u/schnubbi24 Feb 26 '25

It looks like an IV bruise🤔🤔

529

u/terrafreaky Feb 26 '25

Yes. Currently in the hospital and my hand looks like this from my IV. Except I am a 5'2" woman, so my hand isn't quite as dainty or delicate.

u/lorca_guernica Feb 26 '25

OMG! Thank you for the laugh! I’m recovering from wisdom tooth extraction and you legitimately made my day. 😂

1

u/bradpal Feb 26 '25

I'm curious, wdym recovering from wisdom tooth extraction? Were there complications?

3

u/lorca_guernica Feb 26 '25

Have you had your teeth out? It’s incredibly painful, even without complications. Swollen and locked jaw, barely able to swallow, tongue shredded. Can’t brush teeth, can’t use a straw, no solid foods and the act of swallowing is toe-curlingly painful. It is a miserable experience all around and the prescribed pain meds do nothing. And, the fun part nobody told me, it actually gets worse as the days go on!

If you haven’t had yours out and you are young, I recommend doing it as early as you can, as it will go easier if you have youth on your side. I’m pushing fifty, and the teeth were impacted, and everyone’s experience is different. My niece had hers out as a teen and was eating pasta the same evening.

3

u/bradpal Feb 26 '25

I unfortunately have had several teeth removed with a few massive complications, always went straight to work, so did all the people I know who had teeth removed. Maybe it's different in more developed countries but we don't get medical leave for dental stuff in Romania.

1

u/lorca_guernica Feb 26 '25

I wouldn’t know about that. I’m self-employed so my time is my own.

2

u/Firebrass Feb 26 '25

When you remove parts of your skeletal system, the other parts get sore for a few days

1

u/bradpal Feb 26 '25

Well I have had 3 wisdom teeth removed so far, I always went straight to work, same with everyone else I know who had them removed,.were yours normally grown?

2

u/Firebrass Feb 26 '25

Not sure where you're from, but in the U.S. it's culturally common to take time off after

1

u/NatNC Feb 27 '25

I don't know what other people's experiences were, but two of mine were trapped under other molars so I needed to be put under general anesthetic and it took about a week to fully recover.

1

u/bradpal Feb 27 '25

That's a complication if I ever saw one.

u/AlmostBek Feb 26 '25

Beautiful 😂 Also, hope you're going ok and it isn't for anything serious.

3

u/Flintyy Feb 26 '25

Looks like you can see the marks from the adhesive patch and even the puncture spot

28

u/Wise_Cow3001 Feb 26 '25

It’s definitely this. You can see needle marks in the high res images.

14

u/3720-to-1 Feb 26 '25

Yeah it does

3

u/KenannotKenan Feb 26 '25

I thought the same. It looks like there is a bump in the center of the hand that could be where the needle was. If it was they could spin the IV like He’s working so hard he needs supplemental vitamins or water or some bullshit and it would be more believable than “I shake hand so much”. Gotta make him look like he’s doing something more than golfing and filling diapers.

1

u/skipjac Feb 26 '25

I bet you he has a blood boy, so maybe transfusion?

3

u/rdditeis4gsfa Feb 26 '25

Didn't he say he was going to share his medical info? I mean that is his personal info and doesn't need to, but of course he said another lie.

1

u/ArtMachen Feb 26 '25

That's what I thought as well when I saw it. Maybe he got an infusion of something because he's an old fuck and needs extra support just to seem normal

39

u/GreenTfan Feb 26 '25

I remember when he first met Trudeau, and Trudeau was ready for it!

30

u/AdrenoTrigger Feb 26 '25

Melania was too

14

u/Wise_Cow3001 Feb 26 '25

It’s not - it’s a hematoma caused by IV insertion combined with the use of blood thinners.

12

u/DrTaoLi Feb 26 '25

I can't wait for someone to crush his pathetic little hand

5

u/RasputinsThirdLeg Feb 26 '25

And terrible circulation and paper thin skin (in more ways than one.)

9

u/Educational-Year-789 Feb 26 '25

He’s like 78? How strong could his handshake be at this point.

32

u/Cautious-Asparagus61 Feb 26 '25

You don't have to be superman to pull someone off balance who isn't prepared to get yanked on. People are just ready for his bullshit now is all.

22

u/Mr-R0bot0 Feb 26 '25

I remember as a kid shaking hands with my 95 yo great grandfather and he crushed my lil kid bitch hand. Figured he was too old to realize what he was doing but he knew full well.

12

u/nhtj Feb 26 '25

Unfortunately for Trump the world leaders shaking his hands aren't going to be 5 year olds.

9

u/Expert_Squash4813 Feb 26 '25

Trump may not be shaking a 5 year old’s hand, but the world leaders are.

5

u/All_heaven Feb 26 '25

That’s hilarious. When I get old I’m totally gonna use that move.

2

u/doyoueventdrift Feb 26 '25

And that’s the man the American people want as president. They selected that guy again.

2

u/raelizzy Feb 26 '25

Growing up, I took being told that having a firm handshake was important very literally, and that women have weak handshakes as a personal challenge. I would LOVE the opportunity to shake this man’s hand.

1

u/87utrecht Feb 26 '25

But then why only on the back of his hand?

1

u/rbhmmx Feb 27 '25

That's why hes angry at EU after the meeting

0

u/Dusty_Keyboard_98 Feb 27 '25

Cringe canadian

2

u/Cautious-Asparagus61 Feb 27 '25

Maybe your daddy will let you kiss the bruise if you ask really nice

1

u/Dusty_Keyboard_98 27d ago

Man is mad that Trudeau has ran his country down the drain. Nobody needs you guys 😭

-20

u/Texas-Dragon61 Feb 26 '25

Better than bitching about someone who’s not there to defend themselves.

27

u/Cautious-Asparagus61 Feb 26 '25

Hey if he can negotiate a peace deal WITH RUSSIA for Ukraine without Ukraine at the table I can certainly bitch about him without him being there to defend himself.

Go off and defend your wannabe demigod though.

Ps: he will never know you exist let alone love you lol.

11

u/4LordVader Feb 26 '25

How can orangey mclittle hands crush anything short of a baby

5

u/SelfInteresting7259 Feb 26 '25

That says alot about this character. How childish. Wait didn't he do this to some woman and it was on video or an i misremembering

5

u/USarpe Feb 26 '25

my little sister would win...

3

u/hirzkolben Feb 26 '25

Oh how i hate when people (read boomers) do that. On the plus side you know what kind of person you're dealing with...

1

u/del1507 Feb 26 '25

If someone tries that, extend your index finger along their wrist, makes it much harder/impossible for them to crush your hand.

1

u/hirzkolben Feb 26 '25

Thanks, will try it next time.

2

u/Motormand Feb 26 '25

Can't imagine him winning that, considering his tiny, frail baby-like hands.

1

u/Svrider23 Feb 26 '25

Couldn't imagine Trump has much of a grip to crush anyone's hands with.

1

u/Adaphion Feb 26 '25

How well does that go though?? Motherfucker can hardly hold a glass of water with two hands, so his strength can't be much of anything.

446

u/Ybalrid Feb 26 '25

Yes. The Holy Water was given to him by Monsignor Laurent Ulrich, Archbishop of Paris as a thank you for having repaired Notre Dame Cathedral.

Sometime before or after this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGfIRY8gK54

11

u/davideogameman Feb 26 '25

I was half expecting a Rick roll. Not a real link.

15

u/CarolinusMagnus Feb 26 '25

666k views on that video. I think Trump is sending sinister energy towards Macron

5

u/horsebag Feb 26 '25

that is incredible

2

u/DreamPig666 Feb 26 '25

*incroyable

(incredible in french)

1

u/EsspressoToGo Feb 26 '25

Does anyone know how to describe what genre of music is this? It’s so lovely, I’d love to build a playlist for work!

5

u/amphxy Feb 26 '25

They’re just callled hymns. They are commonly sung in the Catholic Church in a multitude of languages. Should be easy to find enough for a playlist!

2

u/EsspressoToGo Feb 26 '25

Ah thank you! :)

1

u/Ybalrid Feb 26 '25

Something catholic and religious. For the details I don’t really know

495

u/marmeylady Feb 25 '25

It’s hilarious. Seriously. Funniest comment I have seen about it!

-4

u/NinjaSushi420 Feb 26 '25

It's not that funny

10

u/Savings-Kick-578 Feb 26 '25

It could also be from full contact hand shaking. He & Macron got into a full on handshake contest yesterday. I was waiting for someone to dislocate their shoulder.

7

u/RealCrownedProphet Feb 26 '25

Was Trump doing his jerking-arm signature move?

3

u/Cautious-Asparagus61 Feb 26 '25

He certainly tried

3

u/RasputinsThirdLeg Feb 26 '25

As someone with hEDS whose joints just pop out I’d fucking kick him in his vestigial pubic mound if he tried that shit. Not that I’d ever be in that position.

1

u/Savings-Kick-578 Feb 26 '25

To be fair, BOTH of them did it to the point of it being comical. You have to watch it. It’s very meme worthy.

10

u/Awkward-Scholar-9921 Feb 26 '25

Yeah!!! It’s kind of obvious, you think

5

u/FourLeggedJedi Feb 26 '25

Macron “Clearly u didn’t rehearse this handshake Donnie”

2

u/Unfair-Wonder5714 Feb 26 '25

French don’t play, fierce mf’s.

8

u/mbecker90 Feb 25 '25

Underrated comment!

2

u/erebuxy Feb 26 '25

Macron would also burn himself

2

u/DuskRaider53 Feb 26 '25

I snorted, best response ever!!!

2

u/Xollector Feb 26 '25

He either took some splash damage from that or maybe a golden shower

2

u/Seasons_of_Strategy Feb 26 '25

Naw, baby hand Trump can't even handle handshakes from the French.

2

u/Dumblesaur Feb 26 '25

If you aren’t careful someone in his circle will see a comment like this and run with it. Maybe say Macron bruising the king is a sign of aggression and use it to do something else ridiculously stupid.

3

u/Empty401K Feb 26 '25

It’s be kind of funny if they were watching out for comments with the words “king” and “Macron” in the same paragraph, and you unintentionally directed them here, opening a whole new can of worms lol

2

u/Present-Alfalfa-2507 Feb 26 '25

Maybe from visiting Polonium Putin?

1

u/Any-Nefariousness610 Feb 26 '25

I am still laughing.

1

u/Professional-Tap300 Feb 26 '25

A real Belmont he is

1

u/Amenophos Feb 26 '25

I believe he WAS baptized Catholic by his own request...🤷

1

u/ButWhatIfIAmARobot Feb 26 '25

That would be M.A.D., so unlikely.

1

u/YoDaddyChiiill Feb 26 '25

That'll cause some sizzling

1

u/TofuScrambles Feb 26 '25

macron crushed his hand

1

u/[deleted] Feb 26 '25

Wouldnt that be some crazy shit if NATO sent some leader with like ricin or some crazy KGB level shit and just did the handshake thing.

1

u/Caveguy22 Feb 26 '25

IT BURNS US!

1

u/Beachtrader007 Feb 26 '25

We did see Macron grab trumps hand around the thumb area to get control while sitting in twin chairs.

It looked like macron held that hand for a minute squeezing.

1

u/Kateybits Feb 26 '25

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

1

u/TittysForever Feb 26 '25

LO fuckin L

1

u/Sapowski_Casts_Quen Feb 26 '25

Was gonna say, Macron had his hand over that direct spot

0

u/LaikasScapegoat Feb 26 '25

I'd pass an award your way if I had one. Made my day thank you

0

u/Weary_Substance_4219 Feb 26 '25

Not Macron with the husband father!!!!

-6

u/TonDaronSama Feb 25 '25

Macron would also burn if he touched holy water.

4

u/Kingdarkshadow Feb 25 '25

Why so mad?

-1

u/[deleted] Feb 25 '25

Yeah, why be so mad at the president complascent with the far right in who essentially served them the government on a silver platter and would rather collaborate with le pen than even moderate center lefts, has a minister saying rule of law isn't that important, is protecting a PM with several pedophilia ring scandals on his ass right now, etc.

2

u/Empty401K Feb 26 '25

The French gov has really been flying under the radar thanks to spotlight the world puts on Trump. It’s gonna be quite the show when that finally fizzles out, with lots of “why are we just now starting to have this discussion…” comments.

1

u/TonDaronSama Feb 26 '25

Yeah I wonder why. And that's just the last 6 months or so.

1

u/RasputinsThirdLeg Feb 26 '25

Well fuck didn’t know any of that! And I thought I was fancy for reading the BBC.

-1

u/CapJack151 Feb 26 '25

Lol! Macron gets railed by his own father(wife)

The truth rly is stranger than fiction

My mind isn't made up on Trump but if you're looking at Macron as hero of sorts, you're probably confused
