The Mazda and Audi are plausibly deceptive, but I gotta give a sincere LOL to the Cybertruck owner...

It looks edited tbh.

The cybertruck photo is 100% shopped!

3

u/-_Mando_- 22d ago

As is the Audi

2

u/MelanieRoadster 22d ago

I think you’re right about that

2

u/Known-Contract1876 19d ago

This fucking Car looks shopped to me, like no way anyone is buying such an ugly car, it looks like out of a PS1 Game.

2

u/Old-Pumpkin-946 22d ago

Lol I literally just saw a Cyber Truck today at my local target with a "Toyota" badge and I lol'd hard. It is not shopped, and I assumed it was ironic.

1

u/beerninja76 22d ago

Omg soo funny and ironic. They still have him there money!. This is moronic on a whole different level.

1

u/Ozimandius80 21d ago

It is really funny to hear someone call something moronic with the sentence 'They still have him there money!.' as evidence. An error rate of 1 error per 2 words is pretty impressive.

1

u/fuckm30 21d ago

They gave him their money before they knew he was a fascist performing a private takeover with a bafoon. They may have given them their money but most now regret it, even if you don’t agree with my viewpoint on him (as yes, everybody is entitled to their opinion) most people now at-least don’t support him.

He may have gotten their money but this is ruining his brand image, tanking his sales drastically and is refusing him the good advertisement and instead giving the opposite, also showing I’m sure as shit these people won’t be buying another one.

There is far more to business than just the purchase, if anything that’s the most minor part of elons company, the point was what the brand represented, sophistication, elegance, minimalism, sane minded, well educated and eco. None of which his company is now being seen for

Impossible! It clearly says Toyota! It must be the new model The Toyota Tundra Truck. I just hope this model is as reliable as the previous generations!

1

u/Definitely_nota_fish 22d ago

Maybe that specific photo, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are actual cyber trucks rolling around with Toyota or similar branding on them

-2

u/Marphtwo 22d ago

OK keep telling yourself that. Take your daily copium!

4

u/Definitely_nota_fish 22d ago

Clearly you've never understood the concept of humor

1

u/Marphtwo 21d ago

Look so, this comment was supposed to be in reply to someone else a bit further down.

I think you're right! Im sorry about that.

It's been a busy week for me

0

u/nothcbtw 22d ago

What you said would need to be funny if such a comment is to be made on their humour

0

u/Definitely_nota_fish 22d ago

I don't know man, taking a vehicle that is very clearly not a Toyota and then finding the biggest Toyota branding you can find seems kind of funny to me

6

u/cali_mark_420 22d ago

It is. The whole post is toilet water. None of these pics have anything to do with a rebrand away from tesla, they are older pics that are just people thinking its cool/funny to put other brands on their car. People are so gullible when they are trying to defend their morals

1

u/liukasteneste28 22d ago

Yeah. I remeber seeing all of these somewhere else few years ago. Before elon went mask off.

-1

u/BusyDescription4010 22d ago

Either they’re all shopped or they are running expired tags.

1

u/Fantastic-Sea9696 22d ago

I'm just gonna say, do you notice how everybody who talks in a normal way / has skepticism has like a normal amount of Karma, and then filler sounding comments all have absurd amounts of Karma? Somethings wrong.

2

u/MXXIV666 22d ago

It is also not plausible. When Cybertruck was released, anyone who's paying any kind of attention already knew Musk is a fraud. Only the truly ignorant and trulu devoted bought it. And "truly ignorant and truly devoted" basically sums up trump fanbase.

1

u/freakshowhost 22d ago

And not even done well.

49

u/cougarlt 23d ago

That was an insult to Audi designers.

3

u/Groetgaffel 22d ago

You know what they say about Audi:

Four zeroes on the grill, the fifth behind the steering wheel.

1

u/cougarlt 22d ago

I don't drive one and I don't care what they say, but I think you've created that on spot.

3

u/Groetgaffel 22d ago

Common enough where I live, but it's probably a regional thing.

I'd assume that there's a significantly lower percentage of Audis driving around in the US than there is in northen Europe

2

u/One_Judge1422 20d ago

I think they did that joke on Top gear as well?

1

u/aRealShmuck 21d ago

Audi designers have been lackin’ lately.

The engineers are doing a’ight but the design department needs redesigning.

Back when the Kia boys thing was really popping off I almost rebadged my Hyundai but then I looked at all the places that had the H and realized it was a lot more effort than I was willing to put into it

This reminds me of a former Oldsmobile dealership in central Ohio. They're a Buick and GMC dealership now. Long after Oldsmobile went under, though, they were stuck with the Oldsmobile logo molded into the building at the top of every single pillar. Probably a good twenty or thirty Oldsmobile logos, built into the structure, ringing the whole perimeter of the building. I just looked it up... Mark Wahlberg bought the place, and they finally covered up all the Oldsmobile logos with stonework. I'm actually a little disappointed. It was always good for a chuckle!

Getting stonework to adhere to a three-dimensional Oldsmobile logo must have been interesting, though. I'm curious if they just put some sort of metal lattice or board in front of it, or if they actually filled in the entire logo with mortar.

It conveys the message

The white Audi/Tesla is mine. I rebadged this a few years ago for laughs. And to keep the coal-rolling smooth-brains at bay.

Now, it works in my favor since the car company once touted for being progressive is understandably toxic due to being “ran” by a ketamine addicted literal Nazi. Admittedly, I bought it 5 years ago without significant consideration of the CEO.

Sure. I could sell the car. But that punishes me financially. So I’ll keep it and run it into the ground.

Anyway- rebadged it for laughs. Hope it amused some, anyway. I might rebrand it something sillier… if I could only find a full set of Pontiac Grand Am emblems on eBay….

1

u/MudaThumpa 21d ago

Where'd you get the Audi badge? I'm thinking about doing this myself.

2

u/DriftSoCal 21d ago

eBay. There’s a bunch of sellers with options that work. They cost about $5-10 per badge. Doing my whole car, including the front, hub center caps, etc, was less than $70.

2

u/MudaThumpa 21d ago

Thanks!

1

u/doobnerd 16d ago

I’m gonna do the same, you did a lot of attention to detail in the back, what did you do in front since Audi does the logo in the grill (we don’t have a grill lol)? Did you just put an Audi badge where the T is on the frunk?

1

u/DriftSoCal 15d ago

That’s exactly what I did. 4 rings where the T used to be on the frunk but ultimately I lowered it to the front bumper cover. It looks … not great… admittedly, but I wasn’t sure what else could be done.

2

u/AimLikeIdaho 22d ago

Honestly, the superior electric truck is made by Rivian. I don’t even know the difference, really, other than aesthetics and far less likely to be vandalized.

1

u/yakalstmovingco 23d ago

it’s a ploy to fool the feeble minded…

1

u/Boostedtrash112 23d ago

Are the members of r/pics unable to spot a very obvious photoshop lol?

1

u/riotousviscera 22d ago

that’s my fav one

1

u/flabergasterer 22d ago

I actually laughed out loud at the Cybertruck.

It’s photoshopped for sure. Would be hilarious to see one in the wild like that.

1

u/jfremmy 22d ago

I love my cybertruck, you should get one!

1

u/Catatized 22d ago

The cyber truck could be rebranded as a mini dump truck. It would be appropriate.

1

u/Dutch-King 22d ago

Cubersuck

1

u/druidmind 21d ago

Someone put Rivian on one!

1

u/LawfulnessBoring9134 21d ago

What does Audi charge for a replacement badge?
Might be the one thing worth investing in at the moment.

1

u/Proper-Ape 21d ago

give a sincere LOL to the Cybertruck owner...

You're not supposed to laugh about the mentally challenged.

1

u/Valaki997 20d ago

Like when a elephant want to hide behind a tree :D

1

u/A-Lewd-Khajiit 19d ago

I can't tell what's from what but the cybertruck isn't going to fool me

1

u/endxrz 14d ago

its obv photoshopped

-1

u/Kind-Plantain2438 23d ago
