For what it’s worth, I ran into that white “Audi” in Carlsbad/San Marcos about two years ago - and it was rebadged exactly like that back then.

I was very amused by the identity crisis that person’s car was apparently having.

You are overthinking it.

Ah, the irony of telling someone they're "overthinking it" only to get a wildly disproportionate, personal attack in return is quite something. Quite impeccable, isn't it?

Your comment went from car badges to making assumptions about someone's sex life and living situation in... truly record time. If pointing out that you were overthinking a rebadged Tesla triggers that level of hostility, maybe you're the one who needs to take a breath. Go figure.

So, well, this isn't "what Reddit is for" - it's just unnecessary aggression over nothing. The person didn't even disagree with your car knowledge - they just suggested you might be analyzing it too deeply. Huh, I wonder, is that gatekeeping?

Well, regardless, I'll tell you that, such completely proportionate and absolutely not overly aggressive response to a single sentence truly speaks personal security, a sense of humor and a feeling of self-worth... apparently.

So, moving right along, get back to gettin' laid, I suppose, and I'll find my way back to the basement.
