It's kinda interesting how little they are celebrating doing exactly what they want to do

Methinks they went to far too fast and can't reel it back in

Uhh, state of the union?

For real there was so much smug smiling during that

As if Trump gives a shit, he’s immune to everything except a fullblown impeachment and guilty verdict. Shit is going to have to be civil war tomorrow bad before the republicans dare go against the golden idol.

Yeah the GOP has their orders to applaud everything trump says and does.

They haven't been ordered to pivot yet.

🤓 technically that wasn’t a state of the Union it was a joint address to congress. State of the Union is done after the first year.

That was just another “get out the vote” rally, that’s why one party was told to keep applauding until they blew the rafters down, just like all his other rallies.

And now the ratings are finally coming in for Donald.

the GOP just wanted cuts to things that wouldn't affect their base.. when Maggats start losing benefits they are going to be so hurt.. so heartbroken that their good old boys hurt them and not others.. then they will get mad.. and for many of them they only care about what they are getting from the gov. That drying up will result in a complete revolt against Republicans by a large part of their base. Bannon has been telling them that and they are already hearing it from people losing their jobs

but so many fed workers and vets are republicans. I don’t think they care or even like their base. they dont need their base anymore.

That drying up will result in a complete revolt against Republicans

LOL that would require Republicans to admit they were wrong.

Trump is old. If he passes away, I can see a good portion of their base using that as their out and then blaming republicans.

They won’t admit they were wrong but they might admit they were lied to—that way they can save their egos.

so heartbroken that their good old boys hurt them and not others

People NEED to bring this up whenever someone makes the mistake of sympathizing with former Trump supporters.

just wanted cuts to things that wouldn't affect their base

They've been making those cuts and advocating for even more for several years lmao

Give a Republican an economy and they will 4/5 times will crash it.

They wanted to move as fast as they could then jam the courts.

More like they only said things for the sake of support and didn’t care for the consequences and ramifications of their actions. It was nice to say on paper but once they actually did something and it blows up in their face, they can’t stand the negativity.
