Yeah, the GOP isn't stopping him, because they want this to happen. But they're politically savvy enough to know the programs are popular and doing this would destroy them in local polls.

Elon thought he'd get glowing support, but he's a convenient scapegoat for the GOP to execute federal de-funding while washing their hands of responsibility
