Let me guess. They can "turn it off" but that won't stop it from being extracted from my pay.

Corporations will still need to follow the actual laws on that, which means it will still come out of your wages as normal.

Naw, there's no incentive there. What Trump/Musk want is to have that money, they don't want to allow any companies to keep that money themselves.

Yep. You're about 100% right there. See it's your employer's computer systems that are taking the deductions out of your pay and sending it to SS. SS would still take the $s (elon's little boys would see to that). Bet you a dollar to a doughnut.
