IIRC every global recession can be traced back directly to republican policy when they control two or more of congress, senate, president.

I dread to think what's coming down the tracks this time, now they have all three AND partial control of Supreme Court. The things they did with subprime mortgages to collapse world economy in '08? They're doing it again RIGHT NOW. Except this time it's being done more sneakily via private equity / variable rate loans to successful businesses. Ask yourself why successful businesses (Joanna, 97% of stores profitable) are bankrupting.

They're tying it to pensions this time because they know the public won't stand for the banks being bailed out again.

I wanna know if I am supposed to pull all my money out of the bank & dig a hole in the back yard? Sheesh, never really thought I'd have consider this in my life time.

It's definitely very concerning. As a millenial it feels like life has been lurching from one global catastrophe to the next.

What happened to boom and bust? Where's the boom?!
