They also have zero training on actual fraud detection or financial forensics.

This whole thing is just a slow coup by the 1%.

Wired had a great article on this yesterday. They interviewed a couple of auditors from the IRS who explained the steps of auditing for fraud, abuse, and waste. None of the steps matched anything DOGE is trying to do.
