All of this to appease Israeli nationalists?

That is an excuse. These are things they've wanted to do long before the current war in Gaza and fixation on antisemitism.

There's a long tradition of setting up Jews to take the fall when your authoritarian plans go sideways. Too bad the ADL and Stephen Miller forgot that when they throw us to the dogs they will also make tasty snacks.

People need to stop acting like jews are one single population.

My family is jewish, and has a lot of jewish community, and no one, not a fucking one of them are happy about Gaza, or the censorship of protests. We all think it is disgusting that the pro-israel lobby has tried to hijack the entire religion for their purposes.

No they are just weaponizing antisemitism to go after their political opponents and see if they can get away with it or if Americans revolt. It will be something else next

Nah. I mean, sure, that too, but I think the main thing is that they want to normalize arresting people they don't like, and the easiest way to establish a precedent is to go after someone the Democrats won't defend because they don't want to look like they don't support Israel, and/or because they blame people like her for Harris' loss. Basically, they're opportunistically exploiting Democrats' willingness to throw people or causes under the bus.

Have you heard the term Christian Zionism? TL;DR They support Israel because it aligns with the second coming of Christ. I've met some that are very antisemitic.

Christian Zionism asserts a parallel idea that the returnees ought to be encouraged to reject Judaism and adopt Christianity as a means of fulfilling biblical prophecies. Polling and academic research have suggested a trend of widespread distrust among Jews towards the motives of Evangelical Protestants, who have been promoting support for the State of Israel and evangelizing the Jews at the same time.

No, remember this is the party that houses neo-nazis and has a prominent member screaming about Jewish space lasers, so any cries of antisemitism from them is the pot calling the kettle black.

That’s just the convenient excuse they’re using to criminalize and get rid of the opposition party.

Remember, it’s not that they aren’t antisemitic; it’s that they need Israel to bring about the apocalypse.

It’s about making free speech impossible by inciting people to self censor

More like the vast majority of Americans support kicking out foreign terrorist supporters

If you think that being pro-Palestinian = pro-terrorist then you’ve drank the Nazi propaganda tea.

Except she was clearly pro hamas so yep, she's a nazi, since both hamas and the nazis want to genocide jews

Ok, what proof do you have other than the Trump admin’s words?

Her article and pro hamas org were more than enough imo, and of the government, to identify her as a terrorist supporter.

Thus, deportation. Not sure whats ambiguous?

You clearly have not read the article, and again, being pro-Palestinian is not being pro-Hamas or pro-terrorism. You are supporting the extrajudicial deportation of a legal resident based on the incorrect notions of an authoritarian regime. When they start coming after citizens for much less, I hope you change tune instead of further accepting fascism.

OK we can agree to disagree.

US been deporting foreigners since the 50's, so not sure why you're upset. It's legal, even supreme court allows this.

Just sit back and enjoy them deporting the terrorist supporting trash.

Her article called for the university to honor the students divestment vote and divest from Israel. It does not mention any group. Hasbara is desperate.
