All internecine warfare results in is internal strife, distraction, and loss. Schumer knew what he was doing. Trump has done his Tariff thing and now the "Trump Slump" is real and the blame is undeniably where it should be.

If Schumer had allowed a shut-down, that's all we'd be talking about, and the Republicans would be in front of every microphone blaming the shut-down.

Protest is not politics.

I don't need to. Open a window, turn on the TV, or visit the conservative sub and the evidence is everywhere. Hell, the international news is talking about Trump causing a global recession.

That is what not getting in a pointless week-long fight over a budget while furloughing tens of thousands of people gets you.

B/c we can focus on multiple things at once! Pressure OUR democrat politicians to either get out or do better. AND we put pressure on the Trump regime and republicans, with mass protests, organizing, counter-propaganda, etc.
