Idk ask Bernie or AOC if they need any help.

I desperately want Sanders to be part of something unheard of and agree to be a primary campaingers vp very early in the process. He's too old to he elected but still very beloved, especially among moderates.

Bernie got killed among moderate voters in both of his primaries.

The primaries were railroaded against him. Just ask Jim Clyburn or Wasserman-Schulz

No, they weren't. He just did awful among voters outside the youth vote and they barely showed up anyways.

Clyburn endorsing someone else isn't railroading anymore than AOC endorsing Bernie in 2020.

9 years bub, they make up a larger demographic of voters than they did in 2016.

That doesn't negate they weren't a majority in either 2016 or 2020.

Ok and do what, make speeches?

Well that would be the bare minimum, yes.

u/EnigmaticQuote 1d ago

That is literally the only thing they can do.

Is not as if they have power to stop any of this.

4

u/blsharpley 1d ago

Then why did you ask?

Because it’s a silly complaint that ignores our political reality.

I thought that would be clear.

But it’s not. It shows that they’re not invested in the country, but rather their own political career. Again… it’s leadership.

What political careers? Neither of them have a political career as of right now.

Keep making excuses. That’s why the Democratic Party is failing. And yes, I’m a Democrat.

Keep blaming people. That’s why the Democratic Party is failing. And yes I am a Democrat.

They just did that and yall are bitching about it…

They are former politicians with no government power idk what you think they can accomplish.

You prefer the sitting on their collective hands approach to Dem leadership then? To each their own I suppose.

Yeah, as I expected. You didn’t really answer the question.

You just sidestepped it with some self-righteous bullshit…

Tell me exactly what they should be doing what can they actually do?

I can repeat my original answer, which is my actual answer: I don't know, ask Bernie and AOC to be of help to them. I am not Bernie or AOC to be clear. Can we be done now?
