California should impose a container tax on every shipping container that goes through its ports heading to or coming from a red state, until Trump drops these insane tariffs.

The total amount of the fees should equal the excess federal tax dollars that CA contributes to red states. That method makes at least as much sense as what Trump's stooges used to determine the amount for the tariffs.

That's why California just does it to every state but offers rebates on something separate to blue states.

This workaround isn't hard.

It can be something like...

Transportation Remediation Under Mass Protest.

The TRUMP fee for short.

It's not a charge, it's an automatic gratuity.

Which also means it's tax exempt!
