In response, White House spokesperson Kush Desai told Fox News: "Gavin Newsom should focus on out-of-control homelessness, crime, regulations, and unaffordability in California instead of trying his hand at international dealmaking."

Seems like that's exactly what he's doing by trying to circumvent inflation.

I don't think you realize what that would mean. Just because you live in the richest state doesn't mean you won't be toting around a wheelbarrow full of cash just to buy a loaf of bread. We are only strong due to our unity, that's why these chucklefucks at the top are so dangerous.
