Republicans must bend knee to Incompetent Leader, because if they don't, they wont see a dime in funding support come re-election time, especially with Lara Trump as RNC Co-Chair. Also: Trump will likely target their state for federal cuts as retaliation for their perceived "disloyalty."

Republicans inaction is completely expected. By not doing anything about the tariffs, they consider themselves blameless. I can't wait for them to find out the hard way just how wrong they are.

They should impeach and remove.

Yep. It's not just the tariffs that need to go before it's too late, and it'd be better for Republicans to realize that sooner rather than later.

They've pushed Trump as a solution for so long that the two are inseparable to left-leaning people already. The longer this goes the more right-wingers are going to forever associate him and the damage he causes with their party, too. I know they don't give a fuck about us, but they care about their power and they have to realize they're going to lose it if they keep it hitched to a madman.

Will state funding cuts even matter when we're scrambling for drops of water at the foot of Orange Caligula's fortress as he tells us not to become addicted to it

Thanks to Citizens United, voters don’t really have anything to motivate congressmen with, anymore. Money holds more sway over elections than political discourse or approval ratings.
