Nah. Don’t you dare both sides this shit. One side is actively taking away my rights and freedoms as a woman and member of the lgbt community and is directly persecuting me. The other is not. They are not the same and acting like they are is a fucking privileged stance.

That's what I tell these nihilists, too. 

They think they're morally superior because they are comfortable sacrificing other people's rights, well being, and lives from the safety of their home. Because they believe they personally can be around to enjoy "sending a message" in a future where they caused more suffering to arrive at an end they prefer. 

It's self-centered and shallow. but they act like it makes them the better people. the least they could do is just be honest that they doing it for themselves and are okay with sacrificing others to get it.

How come we can't hold our democratic officials accountable ? Like the party has failed. How can people be so passionate about holding trump accountable but won't hold their elected reps accountable for doing absolutely nothing in the face of a massive legitimate coupe attempt being broadcasted on world news? If the Democrats aren't in on this then what is the other explanation?

Calling people who are on your side and want trump to be stopped privileged because they're looking at the big picture instead of just rooting for the other color team isn't bringing outsiders to your cause and makes the left seem very ignorant. If we can't hold our own party officials accountable how can we hold the opposing party officials accountable? Make it make sense lol. If people used just basic logic with politics wed have no issues and no money in politics.

The side that is not doing anything to resist this or cause a riot in DC every day it continues is also allowing trump to do whatever the fuck he wants. Every Democrat who got elected should be fighting tooth and nail against everything he's doing. They're allowing him to do what he wants because they don't care about you they care about your vote and their wallet.

Bashing trump without doing anything when the people elected you as a Democrat to fight against this exact kind of thing he's doing makes you just as complicit in his actions. Impeach him every day. What are they doing. Keep impeaching him there's enough crimes to do it daily even if it gets voted down by his croneys. Democrats are sitting and watching their bank accounts grow and feigning anger for votes.

Rioting and shutting down Washington is the job of the people. Performative bullshit from the Democrats wouldn’t do any more than what they’re currently accomplishing. Booker’s speech didn’t change anything and bringing articles of impeachment every day would do nothing except give Republicans the chance to make impeachment that much less weighty.

The “side” that isn’t rioting is the people, Democrats in Congress have no majorities because people like you went “well both sides are the same so I’m sitting out.”

Lol the elected officials paid to represent their constituents can do nothing and that's fine....place the blame on the people the traditional capitalistic way. Is it the voters fault that both parties are slaves to corporate interests and refuse to run a solid candidate since I've been alive? Bernie sanders is the only candidate that has been of the people since I've been alive. Also why vote for Democrats when THE DEMOCRATS WHO GOT ELECTED ARENT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! They are just watching it happen. Congress can overturn the tarriffs which would benefit 99.99% of Americans but they don't cause tarriffs help their pockets. If Kamala was in office they wouldnt have the majority either so without a spine they're not going to gain any traction unless they start actually fighting for their constituents instead of their wallets and lobbyists. You can't hold the other side accountable while ignoring the other.

Hopefully the country will learn it's lesson about corporate owned parties after this election and we'll finally elect an Independent.
