Even dumber: Republicans have 18 months to keep making things worse and will still get 48ish% of the votes because of tribalism and the fact swing voters actually don't exist in any large numbers.

Iā€™m just wondering what would happen to the Democratic Party if republicans get a red wave/filibuster proof majority in 2026. Like if the majority of the country was in the cult fully now and support the destruction.

What do you mean? Like how Democratic party leadership would respond? Probably more speeches about "status quo" ... As for how the R's would respond? More terrible legislation like they have been doing. Hopefully nothing resembling 1930/40s Germany. But that doesn't seem out of the question.
