The Social Security Administration is reportedly drafting plans to lay off thousands more employees overseeing benefits for the nation’s seniors as part of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency initiative, even as it has struggled with reports of poor customer service following the loss of 7,000 workers who have left or been fired from the agency already this year.

Under the direction of Musk’s U.S. DOGE Service, the agency is looking at cuts across a variety of departments, including communications, personnel, legislative affairs, and retirement and disability policy.

They’ve already withheld Social Security from Maine. These fucking people are going to do it — they’re going to dismantle Social Security in all but name, leaving those who desperately need it to suffer and die.

Between this and withholding FEMA funds from blue states, cutting staff at the National Weather Service — impeding tornado and flood warnings — putting our military in danger with the Signal Leak, dismissing the measles outbreak while giving medical advice that’s caused Vitamin A poisonings, and suggesting we let the Bird Flu spread, it's obvious they don't give a fuck about American lives. Meanwhile, they’re arresting and deporting people without due process, including a Maryland father.

And now, tariffs have tanked the stock market, will drive up grocery prices, increase the financial burden on everyday Americans, and send us towards a recession.

To top it off, they’re pushing a budget with a $7 trillion tax cut for billionaires. It’s crystal fucking clear: the Trump administration’s goal is to wipe out the American people.
