Lost & Found If you had a speargun stolen recently…

1.5k Upvotes

Today I bought a pretty much brand new speargun that retails for ~$600 off a homeless dude that was walking around Central Eastside with it. Gave him $40 for it cuz he was really friendly and I didn’t want him scaring people walking around with a 5ft spear. Also it was a great deal.

If it’s yours, hit me up with some identifying details and I’ll get it back to you.

Photo/Video What a lovely day in downtown Portland

Post image

Found myself walking in downtown as a surprise (running an errand where there was an unexpected 20 minute wait.) Walked from 2nd and Jefferson to Broadway and Salmon. Surprisingly little traffic (although I'm not usually downtown on a Friday at 12:50 PM). Only one suspicious new stream of fluid on the ground (not that I was counting) and just an overall lovely day in PDX. May we have many more this year.

Is it a rabbit warren? At first we thought rats, but then we found a hidden even bigger hole (in second pic, hand for scale) that goes down insanely far. We stuck a phone on a tripod down there with a light and it just keeps going insanely far. Got as deep as my shoulder and the phone still didn't reach the end. Just curious! I've seen molehills and rat tunnels and neither have looked like this! It's kinda freaky how huge and deep it is.

Lost & Found Happening NOW - chasing stolen bike

Post image
Upvotes

Please help me…we (spouse and kids) got home about 15 minutes ago and noticed a shopping cart filled with stuff in front of our house parked on the sidewalk.

Immediately I knew something was off. Side gate open, I walk through calling out trying to make ourselves known.

Go inside, same thing. I check upstairs, spouse checks downstairs.

I come around and spouse announces our commuter bike has been stolen.

He immediately takes off to chase it down (tracker tag on the bike). I’m home with the kids.

I’m staring at this cart wanting to toss all the contents, but also scared to touch it.

Mostly I’m worried about my spouse and now angry he thought it was a ok to chase them down.

I’m so nervous!

Last seen on SW 90th and Old Scholls Ferry in the Arrow-Wood neighborhood.

Sweet Luna is a recent rescue who saw something that made her yank the leash out of my friend’s hand and take off. We’ve been searching since yesterday, please help us find her!

She is chipped and should still be attached to her collar and leash. She is timid but very sweet and will probably come to you if you have treats.
