Its one of those covers that really catures the vibe of not just the album but that era in general. This album changed the timeline

Theres a predatory menacing quality to the image. Reminds me a lot of KoRn's self titled in that regard

1997 was a great year for album covers

Yeah, used to defend deftones religiously in my shoegaze hipster years. Now theyre selling out arenas full of zoomers in their 50s. Happy to be on the right side of history ☺️ still my fav band, just saw em in detroit Tuesday

They are easily my favorite “heavy” band. Saved me from a lifetime of being a Tool fan. I was supposed to go to the Dallas show but the tickets were unbelievably expensive

I got my tickets cheaper through my local library. Never knew it was a thing until recently, but I'd definitely look into if its an option for you moving forward.

Saw Deftones this past Monday and they opened with Be Quiet & Drive, was awesome (even tho Chino can’t really sing live)

I saw them play twice in the early 2010s and his vocals sounded really good to me but I just saw them again in SF last month and the show was great but his vocals sucked. :/

Love Deftones and that album. I’ve been following them since I was like 14 and never knew the whole story behind that lmao
