WHAT'S THE PICK? Might be the only time I hesitate when presented with Pyramid

it’s still pyramid imo; you already have an extra energy per turn anyways
obv crown makes it harder but to maximize the chance of the deck ever beating the heart you’re gonna need all the consistency available
2 cais is kinda crazy though

With such little draw consistency I think it’s pyramid, 5 energy a lot of the time will just be an extra lightning with tempest (and you have two energy relics already!), and you badly need to collect any kind of consistency you can muster with this deck. Being able to guaranteed retain recursion and dual cast is exceptional with dark orbs, and steam barrier looks a lot better with pyramid too. Also, key upgrades like doom and gloom, recursion and dualcast feel better to me than girya strength which seems very minimally impactful on the whole in this deck. With crown too you’re less likely to see upgraded card rewards so upgrade density can help a lot in making this survivable.

pyramid is really good with dark and recursion, helps a lot with lining it and dualcast up for maximum effectiveness. You also already have 4 energy which is really nice. It is awkward with 2 CAI but tbh I wouldn't have taken 2 CAI in the first place and you can just not play both of them.

Yeah it could be a mess with two copies of Creative AI. I've had Pyramid with AI and Hello World before and it gets to be a bit much. Defect powers are generally good though.
On today's daily climb I almost picked Pyramid then realized I had Dead Branch, another questionable combo that sometimes works out.

Don't worry, next shop's gonna have a mummified hand. 100%. I promise.
