Anyone else get used to how ridiculously capable the tatarin is that you get overconfident about putting it into impossible situations and then get mad when it's just not gonna work?

It sucks on ice

Yes, it absolutely still can get stuck in deep thick mud, but it won’t happen too often

Definitely use it with the autonomous winch because you will rollover and you will hate yourself for not having it if you don’t

And if anyone ever doubts, how powerful that little tank is

I used it to do most of the mission of pulling the diesel locomotive in Wisconsin

It started pulling that thing from a standstill

And the reason I say that it did most of it is because I also wanted to experiment with a couple other trucks just for fun

I NEVER run a scout without the autonomous. That's a hard learned lesson😅

Same

If they made an autonomous advanced winch for all the trucks I would instantly put that on every single truck without hesitation

As would I, but i think it'd come close to being a game breaker

Honestly - I don't use it at all.

I just don't enjoy how over-capable it is.

My primaries are the Croc (with the 900l fuel tank) and the F-750 with all the fuel and repair points it can carry.

Third scout is the Loadstar, which gets sent out to deal with any scout trailer tasks that come up.

I enjoy using these three far more than the two Tatarins in my garage.

Yeah, I'm planning on shelving it when I'm done opening up the map and grabbing the upgrades and towers. Fuck the f750. Loadstar is my main.

Ha ha - I hear you on the F-750 - it's pretty damn bouncy! But - it's also fuel efficient and can tow full sized trailers, as well as carry enough fuel and repair points to deal with those towing/truck-repair-and-tow taskings that come up, as I'm opening up new maps.

I quite like it.

I hate it for a different reason. As i understand, when properly equipped, it's a very nice addition to the fleet.....which is the problem. I despise Ford in real life, and i refuse to do anything that would glorify it.....i know, I'm petty af😅

Roger that.

I'm Canadian, but drove Ford trucks (F150 and F250) for 25 years, give or take a year or two (had a couple Mazda sports cars in there, as well).

Ran those trucks up and down some pretty scary logging roads and spur lines - from southern BC to northern BC - snow, sand, mud and dirt.

I don't have any complaints about them (other than the same complaints I would have about any vehicle, of any manufacture) - and honestly, that 5.4l Triton engine was one of the most bomb proof power plants I've had in any vehicle

YMMV - but I'd recommend giving the 750 a try - I don't think you'll be disappointed.
