State-Specific The North Carolina GOP continues to challenge the state Supreme Court election to install their candidate. They plan to use this model throughout the country.

You can look into validating your vote if it was challenged (the term for invalidating votes, it might have different phrasing in different locations). You can call the election office for your district and make sure your vote was infact counted and validated. When votes are challenged, they usually assume people are too lazy to do anything about it. Spread the word, even if you don’t think your vote was effected, call to make sure it was!

Below is a good explanation from the Griffin List website and also check if your name is on the list here. If you know anyone in North Carolina, check if they are on the list.
What is the Griffin List? A list of 60,273 legal North Carolina voters – these are registered voters who showed ID to early vote in the November 2024 election – whose votes Jefferson Griffin wants to not be counted. Griffin lost a close election for the North Carolina Supreme Court, confirmed via two recounts. He then sued the North Carolina State Board of Elections to have the 60,273 votes nullified.
Who is on the Griffin List? Registered voters who voted in November 2024 who do not have their driver’s license number or last four of their social security numbers in their voter file. Griffin claims these voters are therefore ineligible to vote. Many of these voters have been registered to vote in NC for years and have voted in multiple elections without issue.
Are they ineligible? No, not according to the North Carolina State Board of Elections or state law. Even if a voter does not have a driver’s license or social security number in their voter file – which could be due to a clerical error in the NC Division of Motor Vehicles or Social Security Administration databases – they are entitled to vote if they show a valid ID. All voters on the Griffin List showed an ID to vote.
What is the source of data for the Griffin List? All names on the Griffin List come from complaints Griffin filed with all 100 NC counties’ Boards of Election. These data are publicly available. To make the data easier to search, they have been added to the search tool below.

Thank you for this info. I wish this sub allowed awards. If you haven’t already maybe post this in the North Carolina sub?

So if they are legal votes what is happening go have them thrown out? Why not and when it's never been an issue before?

Read the post again. It answers this question directly.

Simply put: the desire is for Republican justice to win. So the person who wants to win claims that a vast amount of votes were invalid.
I am shocked that a mere one sided claim can force people to come back and to complete their voter file.

Because they're grasping at straws and trying to backtrack on technicalities.
"Who is on the Griffin List? Registered voters who voted in November 2024 who do not have their driver’s license number or last four of their social security numbers in their voter file. They should have done something to change that before the election. Its always like this. Republicans will find something and they have money and time to pursue this waste of time. When they are in power, they could have improved the law to avoid this, but no, it only applies when the results don't favor them.
